DJ Sammy His presence is positive and his vibe is cool. He’s Spain’s most popular DJ/Producer and he goes by the name of DJ Sammy. He is a veteran of electronic dance music with a degree in music technology and more than 20 years of hard work to prove it. Sammy has spent years fine-tuning his music winning formula in the only way he knows how, by jet-setting around the globe and feeling the vibes at some of the most prestigious venues in the world. A native of Mallorca, Spain, Sammy always know how to share his inspiration and creation with a smile while performing the art of Dj-ing. His worldwide breakthrough was in 2001 when DJ Sammy begun to put his own name to his work. The single "Heaven" helped DJ Sammy achieve massive success in Europe and Australia with 2 million records sold, then came to the US where "Heaven" reached No. 2 in U.S. Billboards HOT 100 before going to the UK in 2002 and hitting No.1. Sammy followed up ‘Heaven’ with ‘The Boys of Summer’, which shot to #2 on the UK charts. In addition, to selling more electronic dance music CDs than any other artist worldwide, since 2001 Sammy has been hosting one of the busiest club nights at Es Paradis, Ibiza. Furthermore, Sammy founded Bahia Music Management and his dance label Super M Records both located on the beautiful Balearic Island of Mallorca. Besides the charts entries, TV appearances and international performances the DJmag´s 2005 Top 100 DJs Poll” recognise DJ Sammy as one of the world best DJs.
