Znouzectnost

Znouzectnost (comonly abbreviated as Znouze or ZNC) started as a punk group in 1986 in Plzeň. They have evolved since then and now their style is a mix of punk rock and folk rock, "folk-punk" is probably the best characteristics. The music is a melodic punk-rock, sometimes more inclined to real punk rock or hard-rock, while some songs sounds much more like a folk music. On live concerts the songs are typically performed faster and harder, especially with the absence of their guest female singer Romana (who also plays saxophone and Western concert flute). The lyrics are typicaly more folk then punk, sometimes with fantasy or fairy tale themes.
