**The Lives We Didn’t Choose: A conversation on the paths we left behind, the selves we outgrew and the futures we are still shaping.**

The careers we almost pursued. The cities we nearly moved to. The relationships, identities, timelines and dreams we once imagined for ourselves, then released, resisted, outgrew or were pushed away from.

For this first gathering, Disrupting the Matrix invites women and non-binary people to sit with the lives we didn’t choose, not as regrets, but as information we can use to shape the futures we are now building.

What do those unchosen paths reveal about our values? What did we learn from walking away? What did we lose, protect, reclaim or become by choosing differently? And how might the futures we left behind still be shaping the ones we are living into?

This will be an intimate, facilitated conversation for women and non-binary people navigating transition, reinvention and non-linear paths. There will be no panel and no pressure to have the perfect answer, just space to think out loud, reflect honestly and be in conversation with others who are also making sense of where they have been and where they are going.
