Since its inception in April 2012, the Manchester (UK) melodic metal/hard rock band Absolva has forged an enviable reputation as one of the hardest working bands around: instantly recognisable, with six highly regarded studio albums and receiving critical acclaim from many sources. Combining impressive guitar work with catchy choruses, they possess a distinct, unmistakable sound that refuses to be pigeonholed into a specific genre. This heavy metal band, featuring melodic vocals and the catchy essence of hard rock, sings primarily down-to-earth songs about taking the hits, rolling up your sleeves and fighting back.
