Alex Toucourt writes and composes, on his acoustic guitar, multi-colored songs… let's call them orange songs instead! He takes us into his acousticool universe, blending humor with… no humor! Over 80 concerts across France and Belgium since June 2006, including opening acts for SANSEVERINO, MARCEL ET SON ORCHESTRE, LES OGRES DE BARBACK, EMILY LOIZEAU, and LAURENT VOULZY. Winner of the 2007 "Tu chantes ou quoi ?" contest (55), winner of the "Métiz’art 2007" showcase (57), finalist in the "Ricard Live Music" competition... His first Maxi "Acousticool" was released last March (available at concerts). After 7 years spent within the band "Conscience Tranquille" (over 450 concerts including the Francofolies, Printemps de Bourges, numerous stages alongside Simply Red, Manu Dibango, Matmatah, Sergent Garcia, Israël Vibration, Les Tambours Du Bronx, Steel Pulse, La Rue Kétanou, … as well as 2 albums selling nearly 4,000 copies each and 1 nationally distributed DVD), the former leader of the Lorraine-based band decided to embark on a new solo adventure. .
