About

Born and raised in Côte d'Ivoire, Asna explores pan-African dance rhythms from Ivoirien coupé-décalé to South African GQOM, creating her own visionary mix of traditional sounds and the new African electronic music scene. We have already had the opportunity to cross paths with Asna in France and Belgium for a few DJ sets; we can now appreciate the quality of the Ivorian musician when she records in the studio thanks to her first single: "Atalaku" - the Congolese equivalent of the "S/O" used by our rappers. Backed by a strong involvement in Abidjan's cultural life and notable appearances (such as her Boiler Room at Atlas Electronic or at the Nyege Nyege Festival), Asna is definitely positioning herself as a rising star in electronic music. One to watch, and hopefully very soon. .
