Axel Muñiz, born in 1995 in Mexico City, Mexico, is a 22-year-old singer and songwriter who bursts onto the music scene with a purely pop album (including upbeat tracks and ballads), aimed at young people who today do not have idols of that age and musical genre.
From a very young age, Axel was super interested in the business; he started playing the piano, guitar, and drums. Music has always been in his life, as he is the son of Coque Muñiz, and his grandfather is Marco Antonio Muñiz, two extremely important singers in Mexico. After planning it for so long, he finally made his debut, for now as a singer, and later as a songwriter.
Family heritage and musical legacy are once again asserted in this 2015 with the youngest member of the Muñiz dynasty: AXEL MUÑIZ. His grandfather is the famous singer Marco Antonio Muñiz and his father, Jorge “Coque” Muñiz.
With out-of-this-world charisma, AXEL MUñIZ debuts with his first single: “SI TE ENAMORAS” (Alejandro Montalbán & Manuel Ramos), an upbeat track produced by Dany Tomas, who has worked alongside artists such as Sasha, Benny and Erik, Diego Torres, and Cristian Castro, among many others.
“SI TE ENAMORAS” will be officially premiered on radio nationwide starting next June 22.
His self-titled debut album was recorded entirely in Los Angeles, California, and will be released towards the end of this 2015. With a fresh and casual image, Axel Muñiz aims to secure the support of thousands of fans who love pop music and are always eager for new faces.
