B5 is the name of four artists: 1. A Brazilian pop/rock group 2. An American urban pop group 3. A Thai collective 4. A Soundcloud rapper that is also called bliss05 1. B5 was a Brazilian pop rock band formed in 2002 in the city of Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro. Influenced by 70s bands, the group was active until 2009. The lineup of B5 comes from childhood, brothers Eduardo Guimarães (vocals and guitar), Bernardo Guimarães (drums) and Lucas Leite (guitar) (the last two are identical twins), around fifteen to eighteen years old, began studying music at age four and had already been playing together, when around six, they felt the need for new musicians for the group. In 2000, through the recommendation of an acoustic guitar teacher, they met Léo Lotti (vocals and bass), who in turn invited his friend Luis Felipe Bade (lead guitar). The band was thus formed, initially playing covers of rock groups.[2] With the lineup defined, the band began playing various shows at parties and events in Petrópolis, the city where they live, influenced by bands from the 70s to the present day. The agricultural exhibition was the push they needed; B5 performed in five editions, playing on the main stage in the last three. The exhibition was a great showcase, as Petrópolis has many rock bands but few places to play. "There are alternative events usually held at someone's house," says Edu. In the year 2002, they signed a contract with the Sony Music record label and released their self-titled debut album, named B5, where the band deals with adolescent themes such as school, dating, sex, football, and video games. From then on, the work gained national projection and B5 became one of the breakthrough bands of Brazilian pop rock. "On this album we participated in the production.
