Bandalos Chinos is an indie pop band formed in 2009 originally from the city of Beccar (north of the province of Buenos Aires), Argentina. The band consists of Gregorio Degano (vocals and synthesizers), Salvador Colombo (synthesizers), Tomás Verduga (guitar and backing vocals), Matías Verduga (drums and percussion), Iñaki Colombo (guitars and synthesizers) and Nicolás Rodríguez del Pozo (bass).
History
Beginnings and debut album (2009-2013)
Iñaki Colombo and Gregorio "Goyo" Degano met in school in San Fernando and have been playing together since they were 14 years old. When they finished high school in 2009, they put together Bandalos Chinos in the city of Beccar, in the northern area of Greater Buenos Aires. Their first album was released in 2012 and was named after the band, being presented at the San Isidro Auditorium on October 26 of that same year.
Nunca Estuve Acá and En el Aire (2014-2017)
Following the release of their debut album, they released "Nunca Estuve Acá" on December 24, 2014, an EP with six tracks varying between electropop and synthpop. On December 22, 2016, they released "En el Aire", an EP featuring the standout song "Isla".
Bach (2018-2019)
Their second album, titled "BACH", was released on August 3, 2018, recorded at Sonic Ranch studios in the United States with production by Adán Jodorowsky, Jack Lahana, and the band itself. The lead single was "Vámonos de Viaje".
Paranoia Pop (2020-present)
Their third album, Paranoia Pop, was released on October 9, 2020, featuring guest artists such as Tei Shi and David Aguilar.
