Bërode

Bérode is the solo 'escape' of Quentin Maquet, singer, guitarist, and trumpeter of the band Dalton Telegramme. He takes advantage of the flexibility and responsiveness offered by this new formula to broadcast his French folk compositions in the most direct and instinctive way possible. Live, the project will be defended as a duo with Rémi Rotsaert (Dalton Telegramme, Balimurphy, Noa Moon, Chevalier surprise, Metallica...), a friend and soul brother since the end of the 20th century already. Bérode was born in June 2020 during a studio session bringing together sound engineer and producer Lucas Blasty/Chauvière, guitarist Rémi Rotsaert, percussionist Fred Malempré, and Quentin Maquet. Four tracks were put in the can, which will be released during this first part of the year 2021. Several concerts and festivals (Austral/Boréal fest., Bucolique festival, Fêtes de la musique, Hangar, Les musicales Salmiennes,...) are already planned in the event that cultural activities resume.
