Beyond Blonde is a rock/indie rock band formed in Warwick, RI, United States in 2000. If the voice quality of Sass Jordan, Melissa Ethridge, Susan Tedeschi and Janis Joplin were rolled into one....you would have the rockin, sultry, soulful, energetic voice of Lisa Markovich, backed by her band, BEYOND BLONDE, founded in 2000. Influenced by bands like Van-Halen, Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Doobie Brothers, Allman Brothers, Chicago, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and several various blues artists, it has given Lisa the opportunity to write in many genres. She will go from rock, to country rock to southern rock. From sultry vocals to rough and raw! Only way to really appreciate Lisa Markovich and Beyond Blonde is LIVE! .
