'Bugsy' draws his audience in with an extreme passion that truly captivates them and his record collection and jaw-dropping techniques on the turntables amazed a lot of people out there. He has built a solid reputation and is steadily becoming one of Belgium’s leading house DJs. Over the years he has played at all the major clubs and parties alongside many international Djs including Kerri Chandler, Joe Claussell, Dennis Ferrer, Charles Webster, 1200 Warriors , Ian Pooley, Karizma, Rahaan, Greenskeepers, Franck Roger, Diz, Marek Hermann, Miles Maeda, Justin Long, East Coast Boogiemen and many more. He strives to play a wide variety of different sounds and styles, new or old, without bias towards or against any specific format and has a love for combining soul, funk, disco and house music. The accent is on deep, soulful grooves with an uplifting message. It was a progressive evolution over 10 years that began with the mid 90s hip hop sound, followed by the techno and house sound in the late 90s. Being exposed to great event productions and even greater music talents made his passion and respect for different kinds of music grow. He's influenced by the Chicago, New York & Detroit house scene, by the likes of Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan, Nicky Siano, Tee Scott, Leroy Burgess, Lil Louis, Theo Parrish, Steve Silk Hurley, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Kerri Chandler, Joe Claussell, Francois K, Chez Damier, Ron Trent, MK, Dj Harvey, Rahaan, Kenny Dope, Little Louie Vega, Larry Heard, Moodymann, Tony Humpries, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick Carter, Terry Hunter, ... During his studies at college he got in touch with Jensen and their mutual passion for music made these two house cats inseparable behind the turntables.
