Marco - drums Felipe - guitar Carlo - bass Luis Pipe - guitar Diego - vocals Carnada is a Chilean rock band, formed in 2007 specifically in the city of Santiago. They achieved recognition in the underground indie scene after the release of the EP Los Hermanos Sí, officially launched in March 2008. From then on, the band has focused on creating and producing their first full-length album simultaneously with performing concerts on emblematic stages of the Santiago independent circuit. Diego Rojas (vocalist) and Marco Soto (drums) met at an early age at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile. Both classical percussion students, they decided to form a band around 2006, naturally considering Felipe Rojas (guitar) and Carlo Soto (bass) as their respective younger brothers. The project named Fonossapiens begins by playing covers of various bands, some trendy and others not so much, and gradually moves into composing their own songs, notably "Dame Una Razón" and "Hombre De Goma". Later on, the project ends and gives way to Los Hermanos Sí where they only play original compositions and adopt a new character. The group recruits a second guitarist, Juan Ignacio Dujisín, who completes the required lineup. In late 2008, he is replaced by Luís Felipe Fernández (guitar), whom the Rojas brothers met months earlier outside a concert they attended as audience members. From that moment on, they begin rehearsing rigorously, while Marco and Diego work as private percussion teachers, Felipe as a guitar teacher, Carlo finishes his Audiovisual Communication studies, and Luís Felipe continues his studies at the Pro Jazz Institute.
