About

Cimafunk is the 2018 Cuban musical revelation. His subtle and daring blend of Funk with Cuban music and African rhythms is a UFO in the island's musical landscape. His debut album “Terapia” (Independent Production, 2017) and above all his electric live shows have inexorably conquered a multitude of audiences from Havana to Paris. He broke attendance records on iconic stages such as the Fábrica de Arte Cubano, El Sauce and La Tropical. Cimafunk is a cimarrón*, a free being defying classifications, a pilgrim in search of new musical mixtures and the reunion of black music. He believes in nothing but the power of the Groove and the cathartic communion of bodies dancing to a catchy rhythm. .
