Control Freak refers to a solo artist and three bands: Control Freak is the artist name of Tokyo-based music producer Matt Redding from England. Inspired by his peers and electronic artists of the early 90s and the expressive potential of the evolving new music tech, he began to experiment and search for the “new sound”. To his surprise, he found it on his bedroom floor, in between a Squarepusher CD and a worn out copy of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. Control Freak’s music is free to download, released under the Creative Common’s license by the net-label Heavy 7 Productions. control freak is a band from gainesville, florida, renowned for their research on frogs. Control Freak is also a Post-Punk/Alt. Rock outfit from Ireland, they have released their debut album "Dark Side of the Heart" Control Freak is also the name of a no longer running Hardcore Band from Australia : "A bunch of dudes from other bands coming together to make a 6 song demo, based on the Gold Coast. They didn't last long, but were great when they did." .
