About

Crown Lands is a Canadian rock music duo from Oshawa, Ontario. Canadian rockers, Crown Lands, consisting of lead vocalist and drummer Cody Bowles, and guitarist, bassist and keyboardist Kevin Comeau, burst onto the music scene about a decade ago. They have released a number of albums along the way including their independently released EPs Mantra (2016) and Rise Over Run (2017); the EP Wayward Flyers, Vol. 1 (2020), their self-titled debut full-length album (2020), the EP White Buffalo (2021), the live record Odyssey Vol. 1 (2021) and the full-length record Fearless (2023) via Universal; and, the full-length albums Ritual I & II (2025) and Apocalypse (2026) via InsideOut Music. The band consists of vocalist and drummer Cody Bowles, and guitarist, bassist and keyboardist Kevin Comeau. With a prog-rock flare, the duo compose music and lyrics inspired by Indigenous resistance to colonialism. They have stated that their name, "Crown Lands", communicates a desire to disrupt the concept of Canadian "crown land", government-held lands stolen from First Nations. .
