About

Originally from the Yvelines department, the members of Déportivo met as children on school benches. They released their first album on May 4, 2004, Parmi Eux: just half an hour for 12 short but energetic songs with a raw sound. The band has been cited, among others, by Les Inrockuptibles magazine as one of the most striking French rock breakthroughs of recent years. In 2005, they toured together across France with another major rock revelation: Luke. A new album titled Déportivo was released on October 22, 2007. Déportivo began a 2007/2008 tour with BB Brunes as their opening act. In 2011, the band released "Ivres Et Débutants".
