Raised in New York’s underground, Diego’s relationship with music began long before the DJ booth. A trained jazz trumpet player with an obsession for digging, collecting, and connecting the dots between eras and styles, he developed an instinct for storytelling through records. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, he gravitates toward music with character; groove-driven, understated, and timeless. As co-founder of Cut-Line Records, Diego has helped cultivate a platform dedicated to artists who value depth over trends, releasing music that feels equally at home in intimate clubs, open-air festivals, and late-night afterhours. His own productions and DJ sets reflect that same philosophy: patient, playful, and always evolving. Tension and release. Today, Diego is based in Lisbon, where he also co-owns MYRA, an oyster bar, restaurant, and beach club that has become an extension of his creative world. Whether building a restaurant, running a record label, or soundtracking a dancefloor somewhere in the world, the thread remains the same: creating spaces where people connect through music, culture, and shared experience.
