In a few words

Dub Pistols is a London-based dub/big beat band founded in 1996 thanks to Barry Ashworth. He would meet John King (guitarist), Jason O'Bryan (bassist), T.K. Lawrence (vocals), Jack Cowens (drums), and Steeve Hunt (mixing console). The band stands out for numerous guest features with singer-songwriters such as Terry Hall (from The Specials), James Dewes Sheffield (JMS), and Rodney P. The band's musical style evolves in several directions: dub, hip-hop, big beat, ska, reggae, and even punk. This style can vary from one album to another, or from one song to another. Many of Dub Pistols' songs have been used in video games such as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (Cyclone), Final Fight: Streetwise, Dance Dance Revolution X, and many others.
