Luis Alvarez, El Haragán, with a 19-year career, has led the band HARAGAN Y CIA to be loved in many corners of Mexican and international urban areas, maintaining itself in the affection of all lovers of true rock, thus succeeding in being one of the representative groups of national rock.
The style of Haragan y Cía contains a great fusion of rhythms from various musical genres, we can find hints of blues, funk, reggae, rock & roll, heavy, hard rock, rhythm & blues, Latin rhythms, among others.
Since 1989, Haragan y Cia has stepped onto major stages nationally and internationally, achieving full identification with the audience it gathers, showcasing its great convening power, as seen at the Vive Latino Festival at Foro Sol in 2004 and 2008, Lunario of the National Auditorium, Teatro Metropolitan, Hard Rock Live Mexico, Rockotitlán, Toreo de 4 Caminos, Plaza de Toros Mexico, Zócalo of the Historic Center, The Fillmore in San Francisco, California, the Greek Theatre in Hollywood, Madison Square Garden, JC Fandango, The Olympic Auditorium and Sport Arena in Los Angeles, The Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, The International Ballroom in Houston Tx, the 6th Concert Against Racism in Granada, Spain, various theaters, prisons, high schools, and universities in Mexico City, among others.
El Haragan has also been requested for special appearances on different record productions such as the tribute to the good brother Rockdrigo González and the Tribute to Los Tigres del Norte. He has been part of the soundtrack of some film productions like El Mago, Pandilleras, and Fuera del Cielo.
