Originally from Matamoros Tamaulipas, Fonte started in 2006 as a band with a happy punk sound, recording two promising EPs. By 2008, some lineup changes caused the band to evolve into a more melodic sound, focused more on Pop Punk mixed with some Hardcore touches without ever considering themselves part of it, finding originality and creativity in all their songs and demonstrating energy, strength, personality, and passion on stage in addition to having very good interaction and contact with the audience. Releasing "Big Bang EP" in 2009, they express much more than their creativity and manage to stand out in the north of the Mexican republic, achieving a good impact in Tamaulipas where they decide to venture to Monterrey Nuevo León to look for new audiences and better stages, having great success. They have shared the stage with great bands such as Set Your Goals, División Minúscula, Thermo, Finde, Tolidos, Here comes the kraken and friends like Niple, Everything you said, DON, Delaware, Dan Taylor and WFCC. Currently, their most recent independent album "Rumspringa!" which was released in January 2011 with 13 unreleased tracks, has stood out all over Mexico and in other South American countries, achieving a great impact with songs like "Rumspringa!", "Rudo y Cursi", "Days of our lives" and "Escribiendo distancias", which wrap the Pop Punk genre and give it a unique touch, distinctive from other bands. Now they are in the pre-production of their 5th unreleased and independent material which includes different musical traits from previous albums and exploits new sounds that influence each of the members.
