Friday might be a holy day for some or just the end of the work week for others. This Friday marks the day Surabaya was firmly placed on the alternative music map. It was started when Bram, Guntur, Komar, Phiet, and Edi mixed their creative thoughts into a band back in 1999. The mechanized melancholy of the group recalls Black Rebel Motorcycle Club or earlier memories of Radiohead. Although Edi decided to call it quit n 2000, the spirit of the group keep on moving up and better, they released an EP, Mind To Get Close, in 2003.
In 2006, the band came out with an LP released by Aksara Records. The LP Sitting On Anything Cold which consists of tracks that would satisfy the greatest of gothic cravings. Later on in 2009, the band released another EP, Latitude Longitude, which was launched among the stars above Planetarium Cikini, Jakarta. Now, the guitarist of the band, Guntur quit the band. His position later on replaced by Agung.

Why Friday?
Friday, the rearmost day of the week, the day of relieving to relaxing weekend. What we may find on Friday by looking around; meeting of friends, dating, smiles, tears, glory or sorrow and lots of emotions, are hiding. Somehow, everybody waits for Friday.
Friday Band
Boy, Dul, Nieng, have been friends so long. They initiated the band when they were always spent time together, talking about and playing music.
