Goat, previously comprised of guitar, bass, drums and saxophone, create music unlike many of the rock bands. In their percussive songs, they mute the melodic instruments to reinforce the beat, and make frequent use of harmonics played outside the twelve-tone. After going through a reshape in early 2017 with a new lineup, they have moved on to build compositions that explore rhythmic aspect even further, centering on intertwining patterns of repetitive rhythms. So far, they have released two albums from the label HEADZ; their debut album “NEW GAMES” in 2013, and second album “Rhythm & Sound” in 2015.
Previously, despite having a standard rock setup, they performed in a percussive manner using muted sounds on guitar, bass, and even saxophone, creating a sound different from conventional bands by avoiding the twelve-tone scale as much as possible and making diverse use of harmonics. From 2017 onwards, following a change in members and instruments, the group shifted towards composition that deepens the approach to repetitive rhythms, where rhythms intersect and coexist continuously. So far, they have released their 1st album "NEW GAME" and 2nd album "Rhythm & Sound" through HEADZ.
