1990 not only means the year I was born, but also a period of growing creativity in electronic music. Everything seemed to be possible on this period, and unexplored borders of music were now being unrevealed. Many do consider this period as the beginning of a global Dance Music scene. A movement with no borders, including people from all ages, sexual orientations, countries and different kinds of backgrounds. It was also the soundtrack and the movement that followed the unification of west and east Europe. This is a tribute to this Era and its sound. -- Guy from 1990 has been playing in Lisbon since 2007 and his path crossed London for a few years, where he got most of his music culture and studies. The 90's kid is highly inspired by the late 80's / early 90s house and acid sounds, not forgetting of course all the UK sounds influence: UK Garage, UK Bass and Jungle. Apart from DJing regularly in Portugal and many European cities, Guy from 1990’s main occupation is still co-founder and Resident DJ of one of the most representative underground movements in Portugal: ELA East Lisbon. Recently he released music in Percebes, Powdertraxx, Whoopee and ruínas.
