There are several artists and bands called Hurricane.
1. Hurricane, also known as Hurricane Girls, is a Serbian pop and R&B group formed in 2017. The original line-up consisted of Sanja Vučić (Sanja Vucic), Ivana Nikolić (Ivana Boom Nikolic) and Ksenija Knežević (Ksenia), who became popular across the Balkans with songs including “Favorito”, “Hasta La Vista” and “Loco Loco”.
They were selected to represent Serbia at the cancelled Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with “Hasta La Vista” and returned for Eurovision 2021 with “Loco Loco”, finishing 15th in the final. After the original members’ contracts ended in 2022, the group continued with Jovana Radić, Sara Kourouma and Miona Srećković. Following Srećković’s departure in 2024, Hurricane continued as a duo consisting of Radić and Kourouma.
2. Hurricane is an American hard rock and heavy metal band formed in 1983 by vocalist Kelly Hansen, guitarist Robert Sarzo, bassist Tony Cavazo and drummer Jay Schellen. Their releases include Take What You Want, Over the Edge, Slave to the Thrill and Liquifury.
The band later reunited around founding members Sarzo and Cavazo. With vocalist Dan Schumann and drummer Mike Hansen, they released their fifth studio album, Reconnected, in 2023.
3. DJ Hurricane, born Wendell Timothy Fite, is an American hip-hop DJ, rapper and producer best known for serving as the touring DJ for the Beastie Boys from the mid-1980s until the late 1990s.
He was also a member of The Afros and released the solo albums The Hurra, Severe Damage and Don’t Sleep.
4. Hurricane is a hardcore, punk and metal band from Tampin, Malaysia, formed in 2011 by members of Devilica and Kinsfolk.
