Kate Boss is the moniker of Brazilian DJ, writer and visual artist Ricardo Domeneck. Born in São Paulo, he has been active in Berlin since 2003, where he promoted the legendary "Berlin Hilton" parties with his collective. He is now resident of "SHADE inc", also at NBI, where his guests as DJs and performers have included the likes of Peaches, Ellen Allien, Planningtorock, JD Samson of Le Tigre and Men, Akia, Bunny Rabbit, Kevin Blechdom, Telepathe, Stereo Total, Lo-Fi-Fnk, Herpes, Tetine or Mystery Jets. Kate Boss himself has played in Berlin parties/clubs such as Smegma/Berghain or Scala Berlin, not to mention legendary parties like "Boombox" in London, "Fanklub" in Antwerp, or "Club Tropicana" in Barcelona, plus locations in Athens, Budapest, Copenhagen, Prague, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, etc.
