About Resident DJ of the famous Montpellier club "La Villa Rouge" & Electronic music producer
Lorent Air began his career in 1992 in a mainstream club where he played, among other things, electronic music classics that constitute the foundations of his club culture. After being the first resident of the famous Montpellier afterparties Cyrano and Le Bar Live, he inaugurated the famous Montpellier club La Villa Rouge in 1998, a large gay venue that quickly established itself as the reference for gay & electro clubs in the south of France. He rubs shoulders with the biggest names on the national and international scene, playing alongside Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Paul Kalkbrenner, or Vitalic among others.
Lorent Air is also a producer on various labels (Hypnotic "RED" co-written with Didier Sinclair - "Compilation Club Villa Rouge VOL 1/2/3/4/5 on Citizen rec - or Kompakt Extra, Michael Mayer's famous German label (Speicher 62) for his maxi "IRONIK" co-written with Alex Millan in 2008. This track was the electro hit of 2009, #2 for 3 months on Beatport.com
Producer of the first 5 volumes of the "Club Villa Rouge" compilation (Citizen rec), of which VOL 5 was nominated at the Quartz Electronic Music Awards in Paris in March 2009!
His track "Physical Way" is featured on the Villa Rouge Vol6 compilation, mixed by Maxime Dangles & Paul Nazca and released in 2009. On MAY 30, 2011, "STRONGIK" co-written with Alex Millan was released.
This track is also featured on the Villa Rouge VOL 7 2011 compilation.
His sets oscillate between progressive house, hypnotic and catchy, and well-calibrated electro-techno.
