Lugar Algum

Lugar Algum is a band originally from Maceió, AL, founded in late 2023. The band flirts with indie and punk in compositions that address the disillusionment and dilemmas of young adults, generating a feeling of identification from the listening audience. The band consists of Sofia Bagetti (bass and vocals), Mateus Alencar (guitar and vocals), and Marília Melo (drums). In 2025, the band debuted with the single Não Volta, produced by the Fábrica de Artistas project. The band from Alagoas is now preparing for the release of their first album, which arrives on digital platforms in April. With eight original tracks, the record presents the group's identity, moving between indie rock, punk, and the melancholy of the Brazilian alternative scene. The path to the album was also built with the singles Abril, Pra Quando, and Tchau, which preview different moments of the project. The album's production was divided into two moments: Abril, Pra Quando, and Tchau were recorded at Maná Records studio, with production by Thiago Mata and Nayane Ferreira (Os Fugitivos), while the remaining tracks were produced at Montana Records by Fellipe Pereira (Azul Azul), in partnership with the band itself. Throughout the album, Lugar Algum explores themes such as saudade, farewells, and persisting relationships, uniting intense guitars, striking melodies, and direct lyrics. The work functions as a portrait of the band's present and a starting point for their next steps in the independent scene.
