About

Marcos Valdés, Industrial Civil Engineer by training, creator by essence and music lover by choice... Marcos begins his musical journey at a young age, participating in musical groups at his school and with groups of friends. Despite that, he didn't enter electronic music until the early 2000s, when he traveled to New York and by chance bought some House music records. Since then he has not detached himself from the electronic scene. In 2007 he enters DJ SCHOOL to perfect his technique on the decks, thanks to his ability it didn't take him long to stand out and he began to DJ in various clubs. (Las Urracas, Ex - Fábrica, Aura, Maneki, Pacto Arte Bar, Ramblas, Origen, Soul, La Berenjena and of course in the mythical Piso 33). He has shared the stage with the most important DJs of the National scene. In 2008, concerned about doing new things, he studies Music Production and also founds the collective CLUB DJ (www.clubdj.cl), along with his friend and inseparable mixing partner, Jorge Segura a.k.a. Dj Tomas:::, with whom he also does a radio show every Friday on the online signal of zoomradio.cl, showcasing emerging producers and DJs of the scene. Marcos in his sets mixes the great spectrum of sounds provided by house music and also the warmer sounds of minimal. He says the idea is to deliver an exceptional experience to whoever listens to his sets, which is why whenever you listen to him you will let yourself be carried away by the groove that emanates every time he takes refuge behind the decks.
