Metal Carter grows up listening to Hardcore, Heavy Metal and hip hop, which he uses as an outlet for his problems. Indeed, his lyrics range from his own inner distress, to the violence of the lyrics expressed in Sangue (album), to drugs, down to sex or in many cases to irony and lunacy, abundant in some songs like the now well-known "Pagliaccio di Ghiaccio", or "Boy Band" from 2005. It is impossible not to notice how some of his song titles ("Lascia Che Io Sia", "Boy Band" itself and "Con Il Crack", where he adapts as the initial bridge of one of his tracks the chorus of Colle Der Fomento's "Più Forte Delle Bombe" with his own style) echo titles of other types of songs or even of old 1980s cartoons, like Nella Mia Mano, where he re-proposes as a chorus some words from the theme song of Giuseppina the Whale, a cult cartoon that aired many years ago on regional televisions. It is essential to say that Metal Carter is a true alter ego, a character who, although based on life experiences lived directly and indirectly, is absolutely not to be taken literally (as he also states in interviews). Currently Metal Carter released a new record at the beginning of 2007, Cosa Avete Fatto A Metal Carter?. On November 9th Fabri Fibra's album came out, track 06 "Cento modi per morire" contains the participation of Metal Carter.
