Nimino is the moniker of Milo Evans, a UK-based electronic music producer and DJ. He gained significant recognition starting in his teenage years and has become known for his distinctive and adaptable electronic music style. Nimino's music blends various genres, including house, hip-hop, UK garage, and lo-fi elements. His sound is often described as lusciously deep, emotional, and suitable for diverse settings. He has been compared to artists like Mura Masa, SG Lewis, and Cosmo's Midnight. His production often features a "world-building" approach, balancing light and dark sounds, and sometimes incorporates unique samples like laughter used rhythmically. He achieved massive success in 2024 with the single "I Only Smoke When I Drink". The track went viral, particularly on TikTok, amassed over 100 million streams, charted for over 20 weeks on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Chart, entered the UK Singles Chart, and received significant airplay (including BBC Radio 1's A List). It was championed by DJs like Pete Tong, Diplo, and Danny Howard. His latest EP, Creek, was released in March 2025 via Ninja Tune's imprint, Counter Records.
