A New Age Fusion band from Dhaka, Bangladesh. The band started basically around, July of 2008. The band debuted at the Summer Unplugged' 08 [GMQ Canteen, NSU, Banani.], with a line-up Soothsayer, Xoroastrian, Shunno, Radioctive, etc, With a hint of folk/fusion genre, Mobassher, Shadman, Mustakin and Rizwan, started the journey of what we know now as the band "Old School". Using only Acoustic instruments, like Tabla, Violin and Acoustic Guitar, the band tried to set a new milestone and give a new sound for the music lovers out there, and they were successful, getting an imensely huge response from the crowd. This motivated the band, and the members decided to continue this, which, back then, was actually an experimental project! After this show, the band got a lot of offers for shows, where everyone witnessed the versitalty and uniqueness of the new sound/genre that they presented to the audience & the songs they experimented on. Usayed, who joined in after the NSU gig, as a guitarist, played with the band for a while, but had to leave for abroad. Naveed & Shanto recently joined Old School, Shanto on guitars and Naveed on Flute, and have finally completed the Old School family giving the full feel of what the band truely wanted to represent.
