Radioresepsjonen (often abbreviated RR) is a radio show on NRK P13. The program is hosted by Steinar Sagen, Tore Sagen, and Bjarte Tjøstheim, and premiered on NRK P3 on January 2, 2006. In 2010, a TV version of the program was made under the name Radioresepsjonen på TV. The program was moved from P3 to P13 in the autumn of 2014.
The very idea for Radioresepsjonen came during a dinner the three of them had on a late summer day in 2005. NRK was originally against the program having three radio talkers on the air at once, as they believed it would be too messy. The management at NRK P3, however, agreed that the three could make the program together after making a pilot and distributing roles: Steinar Sagen as host, Bjarte Tjøstheim as the "crazy sidekick" and Tore Sagen as technician and "know-it-all". The choice of program name fell on Radioresepsjonen, after having considered among others Papaya, Tokyo, Bitteliten by and Radiohuset, with the genre description "light entertainment" and the motto "A fat, a tall and an old man trying to make a radio show on P3".
Radioresepsjonen got the old broadcast schedule of Are and Odin on NRK P3 when they quit, and the program had its first broadcast on January 2, 2006. The program was broadcast from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday, until December 22 of the same year. The program ended because the hosts were making the TV show Torsdag kveld med Steinar Sagen. From July 2 to 27, 2007, they came back as holiday substitutes for Drillpikene, and on August 31 Radioresepsjonen returned as a weekend program Friday to Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This schedule lasted until October 28, 2007. Then it was clear that Mina Hadjian had been dismissed by NRK, and Radioresepsjonen took over her broadcast time.
