There are seven artists named Retro. 1) Retro is a music group located in the United States, based out of Georgia, and 'fronted' by singer/songwriters Gil Davis and Mike Rickenbaker, who produced a CD album of their original music in 2002 called "Back To Back" (released on the Kosmic Records label). http://retro1.atspace.com 2) Retro is a 'noise' artist (also known as Retrovirus) based in Poland who runs the label "Far From Showbiz". 3) Retro is an 80's cover band using analogue synths www.retro80.co.uk 4) Retro is rock band from Montenegro. 5) Retro is a Birmingham (UK) based bass music producer. 6) Retro tha Kid is an Atlanta, GA based rapper. 7) Retro, a rapper from Athens. Greece. Detroit native, Andre Starkey a.k.a. “Retro tha Kid”, takes the Atlanta rap industry by storm with his lyrical flow, unique, creative swag and charismatic, suave personality. A powerhouse in the making, Retro brings a flavor to the rap world that keeps his audience on the edge of their seats and the ladies screaming for more! Retro’s passion for music came from a long life of musical influences from the past, especially artists of the 90’s, which serves as the inspiration for his name. He was born into a musical family and at the age of 6, he and his family started their band with RETRO at the lead. Retro’s style is eclectic and distinctive. He combines life experiences with the depth of poetry and spoken word to create his music. He also is a master of art who designs his own mixtape art, logos, clothing and jewelry.
