About Samuel Labarthe is a French-Swiss actor born on May 16, 1962, in Geneva.
A resident member of the Comédie-Française from 2012 to 2015, he is notably known for playing Commissioner Swan Laurence in The Little Murders of Agatha Christie from 2013 to 2020. More active in theater and television, he has also acted in films, such as La Conquête and Notre-Dame brûle, where he portrays Dominique de Villepin and General Gontier respectively. Also active in dubbing, he is notably the regular French voice of George Clooney as well as one of the voices of Liam Neeson and Javier Bardem.
