The rising is an alternative rock band fronted by michael lee (aka Michael Johns), dropped from Maverick Records before their unreleased debut album "future unknown" (2004) hit the stores. http://www.myspace.com/therisingband 2. The Rising are a 4 piece band from Blackburn who have just released their debut album called 'Past Midnight'. Playing the main stage for the 2nd time, The Rising have gone from strength to strength.
