There are multiple artists and groups using the name Wisteria. 1. A gothic dream pop artist based in Los Angeles, California. 2. A post-punk/electronic artist, first active in 2022. She combines fuzzy, ethereal guitar work with distorted electronics to create a distinct take on the classic post-punk sound. Currently, her releases include the single “enshrined/charon’s obol” and the EP “Lira de Orfeo.” 3. A progressive/melodic death metal band in Germantown, Maryland. 4. Mixed gender 4-piece Japanese rock band originating in Tokyo with elements of emo, punk and hard rock sounds. Formed in 2019 whilst in High School, full-fledged activities begun in 2021. 5.
