In a few words

German Jazz & Rock Fusion project by former -bassist . It is named after Schmid's eponymous first solo album Wolfhound from 1975. The group was active between 1981 and 1986. The name "Wolfhound" is eponymously used either for the whole band (e.g. on the first album from 1981) or as an alias for Wolfgang Schmid (see his album "Wolfhound's Kick"). Even on his homepage, the eponymous character is not completely cleared. On the one hand, his bio lists him explicitely as bandleader of the band "Wolfhound", while on his release page, he lists those releases "as Wolfhound" with the line-up as featuring musicians.
