60juno

Originally from Merced, California, 60juno leads the Central Valley's post-punk scene with a nostalgia-laden proposal, built through deep and dreamy melodies.

Inspired by the rise of Southern California's DIY indie-rock community in 2016, as well as the simultaneous ebullience of the SoundCloud rap underground scene, 60juno was born in the isolated bedroom of a lonely teenager trapped in the 2020 lockdown. Realizing that creating his own music wasn't as unattainable as he had imagined, this independent musician became the driving force behind the bass, drums, guitars, and vocals heard in every one of his songs.

60juno takes the usual melancholic and ethereal side of DIY indie-rock a step further, plunging it into post-punk territory with more intense energy and harsh, deep vocals at the forefront. This fusion has given rise to a style of his own that sets him apart and continues to cement a singular sound, worthy of being remembered.
