The story
A show dedicated to the past and future legacies of Black British Music.
Stepping onto the Southbank stage for a first time Tracks on Tap promises to tell the history of our music culture, while presenting the next generation of UK MCs.
Returning to the Southbank Stage, The Five Points Project bring their collective of musicians to create flips of some of the best UKG, grime & UK Funky tracks around.
Based in south London, Tracks on Tap was set up in 2018 with a mission to champion new talent from across the UK through live events. It is led by passionate artists who are committed to spreading positivity and fostering a strong sense of community.
Since 2021, The Five Points Project have been tackling loneliness with live music, creating space for musicians and music lovers to connect through open form jam sessions, walking clubs, football sessions and more.
This event is part of the Southbank Centre’s Riverside Sessions, running throughout the summer as part of our 75th birthday celebrations. Curated by young people, the program invites audiences of all ages to explore youth as a mindset, not a number.
