The Grayston Unity present Adelaide Taylor & The Mess,

Adelaide Taylor & The Mess are an up and coming band from West Yorkshire, playing heartfelt folky-rock with soul, infused with powerful vocals and lyrics, rich musicianship and deep, atmospheric arrangements. Already competition winners and receiving critical acclaim from BBC’s Christian Carlisle, they are quickly becoming an exciting new name to watch.

Fronted by singer-songwriter Adelaide Taylor, her debut album features Neil Fairclough of Queen and Adam Lambert on bass, while Adelaide has also collaborated outside of this with Amy Wadge, the Grammy-winning songwriter behind Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud.

Drawing influence from Billy Joel, Kate Bush and Alanis Morissette, The Mess create something ambitious, distinctive and genuinely their own. Catch them now at the start of their journey to the top.’
