Combining traditional Finnish music with Electronic Dance Music, all played on the accordion... this is the challenge taken up by Antti Paalanen.

The artist thus superimposes the good-natured vibe of the accordion onto the haunting beats of electronic music.

After all, the accordion has always made people dance. With Antti Paalanen, it is just a little punchier. He has thus created a completely personal and wild sound on his accordion, which he has named Breathbox (the breathing machine), a full character in its own right at his concerts.

A metal lover since his teens, Antti Paalanen adds guttural singing inspired by Siberian traditions to this techno-infused mix. This fusion of the ancient and the modern gives the impression of attending a Viking party on acid... Accordion techno was born!
