AS PART OF THE 30TH EDITION OF THE VILLES DES MUSIQUES DU MONDE FESTIVAL Ashs The Best, whose real name is Elhadj A. Tiaré, is a Senegalese artist born in the suburbs of Dakar. Coming from a musical lineage—his father was a member of the legendary reggae group "NIOMINKA BI"—Ashs The Best was immersed in a music-infused environment from childhood. This early immersion in the musical world forged his passion and talent, pushing him to explore and develop his lyric and rhyme skills, thus laying the foundations for his future career in Senegalese hip-hop.

In 2013, he adopted the pseudonym Ashs The Best and fully launched his musical career. His unique style, which skillfully fuses rap, jazz, and acoustics, allows him to stand out in the Senegalese music scene.
