Bajaga i Instruktori ("Bajaga and the Instructors") is one of the most famous bands from the former Yugoslavia. Originally from Belgrade, it was formed in 1984 by composer, lyricist, and guitarist Momčilo Bajagić (Bajaga). The band boasts an extensive discography, and several of their tracks achieved massive success on the pop and rock scene during the former Yugoslavia era, alongside other bands like Bijelo Dugme and Bregović. Bajaga i Instruktori has retained significant popularity throughout the Balkans and continues to perform live. Their music is often associated with the 1980s Yugoslav rock scene and remains a major benchmark for rock in the region.
