The story
Inspired by the dream pop of the Cocteau Twins, the rock of the Talking Heads, and the voices of France Gall or Françoise Hardy, 24-year-old billie blends edgy, distorted rock with tender French lyrics and a clear, sensitive voice. Her songs evoke an intimate and generational project about identity, the gaze of others, and the traces of the past.
