The story
Manu Blanco and Xoán Domínguez bring to life an unclassifiable and avant-garde project, where groove and harmonies combine with melancholy and ecstasy to create evocative soundscapes. Their songs explore love, life, fulfillment, and the search, both internal and external, with a unique sensitivity.
The Galician duo has built the hardest thing: a universe of their own. A space for innovation, where the warmth of the organic merges with the precision of electronics. Where authenticity and aesthetic exploration have become the band's hallmark, with influences ranging from bolero and jazz to pop, R&B, and, of course, electronics.
In addition to having worked with artists such as Sen Senra, Judeline, Ralphie Choo, Rusowsky, and Marem Ladson, Manu and Xoán have solidified Blanco Palamera as one of the most interesting proposals on the Iberian alternative scene. A project in constant evolution, which has taken them with their vibrant live show to Spain's main festivals, as well as to stages in Mexico.
Now, after two critically acclaimed albums — Promesas (2019) and Intimidade (2022) — and an EP — Nuestro día llegará (2023) — that already marked a break with their previous work, the duo translates all this sound evolution into their third LP: BIIIP, their most ambitious and mature work to date.
