The story
Arnaud Bernard, aka BLOWSOM, was raised on the Beatles, whom he listened to on loop with his family in the car. At just 8 years old, he tuned his first guitar, but his teacher ended up in jail, and Arnaud ultimately taught himself.
His passion became palpable at 18 when he decided to go study music in Brighton, England, to follow in the footsteps of a band he loves, the Kooks. Over there, while discovering DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software, Arnaud became BLOWSOM. At the time, it all happened on Soundcloud, where he shared his music, which was surprisingly electronic-leaning. Despite interest from the media and a few labels, he naturally returned to a more pop style, tinged with rock, like the bands he's a fan of.
Upon his return to France, Blowsom revealed himself through a few tracks gathered in a first full-length format called "OK Romance!", in English. A critical success, he acquired a taste for the exercise, and very quickly, the need to reconnect with his mother tongue asserted itself.
He then discovered a new breath in French, and his tracks, which he began releasing in 2025, took on a whole new dimension, like his track "Les Passantes", which quickly reached one million streams.
Then entirely independent, Blowsom composed, produced, and mixed everything by himself. Without a booking agent, he announced a Parisian date at Point Éphémère, which sold out in 24 hours. Driven by his community's enthusiasm, he decided to think bigger and announced a concert at La Cigale, his biggest venue to date. He also set out to meet his audience with a first mini-tour in Lyon, Lille, and Brussels.
Building on this fresh start, he surrounded himself with a team, choosing Panenka Music and Zouave to accompany him on the rest of his career, notably for the release of his first French-language EP, "Les Passantes".
Set to indie pop with rock accents and catchy melodies, Blowsom speaks unfiltered about his past relationships, the difficulties of falling in love again, and fragile hopes. He paints the portrait of a generation whose romantic patience seems to be wearing thin, where immediacy seems to take precedence over commitment.
