Boy Harsher + Choir Boy

Since their formation in 2014, Jae Matthews and Augustus Muller have built up one of the most devoted audiences in the underground scene under the name Boy Harsher. Their debut EP, *Lesser Man* — which features the cult track "Pain" — was originally released in a limited cassette edition before being uploaded to YouTube by a fan. They kept up their momentum with the album *Yr Body is Nothing* (2016) and the EP *Country Girl* (2017), paving the way for the critically acclaimed album *Careful* (2019), as well as the project *The Runner* (2022) — both an album and a film — which the duo wrote, produced, and scored. Boy Harsher have continually explored new horizons at the intersection of darkwave, industrial music, and electro. Their signature blend of hypnotic synthesizers, punchy rhythms, and Jae Matthews' magnetic vocals has influenced a new generation of artists, while helping to propel minimal synth, EBM, and dark underground electronic music onto festival stages worldwide.
