Since their acclaimed debut album, The Future Is Our Way Out, Chicago-based band Brigitte Calls Me Baby has refined their vision to deliver a sumptuous and resolutely unique alt-rock, both innovative and essential in the contemporary rock landscape. With Irreversible, their second album, the band reaches a major milestone: it captures the energy, mystery, and grandeur of their live shows while exploring the haunting melancholy of their compositions with greater depth. "There was a time when I tried to stifle the emotions we express on this album, but today, I no longer want to hold anything back," confides Leavins, whose distinctive voice imbues every track on Irreversible with striking emotional intensity. Produced by Yves Rothman and Lawrence Rothman (Blondshell, Yves Tumor), this album came to life in the midst of a relentless tour, marked by performances at major festivals such as Lollapalooza and Corona Capital, opening slots for artists like Morrissey, Fontaines D.C., The Last Dinner Party, and Muse, as well as sold-out headlining tours in the US, the UK, and Europe.
