The story
BUG TEETH
Bug Teeth began as PJ Johnson’s electronic bedroom project before evolving into a full band, with live shows that shift between fragile stillness and bursts of distortion. Drawing from dream pop, ambient electronics and fractured breakbeats, they make hazy, immersive songs that resist easy classification. Their debut album *Micrographia* expands that world further, balancing beauty, abrasion and grief. Bug Teeth continue to shapeshift, pulling listeners somewhere between waking and dreaming.
CORDELIA GARTSIDE
Drawing on influences like Radiohead and Fiona Apple, Cordelia Gartside builds a lo-fi alt-rock world of faces behind glass, endless corridors and self-examining minds, all charged with the tension of a Lynch scene: the quiet, then the collapse. Live, her band builds atmosphere through reverb, distortion and groaning guitars, with Gartside’s voice cutting through it, or breaking inside it. Sharp lyrics and hypnotic delivery make the quiet as arresting as the noise.
JONIQUE
Formerly of two-piece Fräulein, Irish songwriter Jonique writes music grown from the gut. Each song feels like a distinct scene from the world she is carving out for herself. At the centre is an unmistakable voice, fragile and strong, beautiful and twisted, intense and fleeting, but always deeply human. Her quietly magnetic performances grab you immediately and linger long after the show is over.
